Dear Professor Won-Han Shin: The first day in spring has passed in
calendar. However it is still cold here in Sapporo.
As you know, 5th Japan-Korea Conference on Spinal Surgery
will be held in Sapporo on June 9-10, 2004. At the coming
meeting, we are planning to invite Dr. Young-Soo Kim and Dr. Hiroshi Nakagawa as
honored guests and to have Special Evening Lectures on historical aspects and
future perspectives of spinal surgery in both countries.
In parallel to the 5th Japan-Korea
Conference on Spinal Surgery, the 20th annual meeting of the Japanese Society of
Spinal Surgery will be held in Sapporo on June 8-9, 2004. We are planning to
invite Dr. Michael G. Fehlings, Dr. Daniel H. Kim, Dr. Jung-Keun Suh, and Dr.
Nozomu Inoue as the guest speakers for the meeting.
Friends from Korea
can also attend to 20th annual meeting of Japanese Society of Spinal Surgery
free of charge. As for further

Please note that deadline of abstract submission is March
11, 2005. Furthermore we have big event “Yosakoi festival” at the same time in
Sapporo in that
week. Therefore, hotel will be shortage. Could you book it as soon as possible?
Honestly speaking, we cannot take care of accommodation of any executive
committee from both Korea and
Japan in this time because of
financial reason. But we are
preparing a big welcome party to make good friendship between both Korean and
Japanese Spinal surgeon.
Anyway, we are looking forward to
